Looks interesting - do you know how much fabric will be needed? I'm not sure what's in a half yard bundle or a fat quarter bundle....

Thanks for posting this. I love following the mysteries. I've been looking at my fabrics and probably should order some. I don't know how I managed to get mostly darks. lol

I've never purchased a half yard bundle but typically, a FQ bundle has 24 to 36 FQ's. At least that is my experience. 4 FQ's = 1 yard...The bundle she is using has 36 FQ's and she's says you need 2 bundles....so it's looking like 18 yards. It appears she'll be using the lights/neutrals in her bundles for her backgrounds so that total includes background. I'm going to decide once I see her first block and directions.

I'll be keeping an eye on it but 18 yards seems like a ridiculous amount of fabric for a (if my iffy math is correct) 5 foot by 5 foot finished quilt (it's apparently going to be 10-6 inch finished squares by 10-6 inch finished squares) Maybe she meant you should use 1 half-yard bundle/2 fat quarter bundles to have a decent variety of fabrics to choose from, and you wouldn't be using them all?

I will be saving the clues instead of making it. I have too many other projects "on the go".

Keeping my eye on this. I would love to buy one of her bundles but they are sold out. I am not good at picking my own fabrics.

I just saw this today so I am behind the steps and I have a lot of other projects to work on.
So far I think it is looking nice - I always like what she comes up with!
I will be following and saving the steps for later. LOL another one added to the never ending list!

Default Laundry Basket quilt.

Good morning, fellow "shut ins". Someone pointed me to Edytia Star's Laundry Basket quilt. Has anyone on the board made one, or is making? Lover the fabrics! I think its one I would like to do! (not with her fabrics, of course (sigh)

Are you enjoying the project?
