Default Old Country Store closing???

I just got an email saying the Old Country Store in Intercourse, PA has closed after 35 years. What??? I just got their new class schedule a few weeks ago and an email for their online fabric a week or so ago? Does anyone know what happened? They were my favorite store in Lancaster!

I, too, received an email. I wonder what happened. I know someone here will come up with the answer.

Their website is still up. My email said "after 4 years" not 35 like others. I wonder what's up?

Their website is up but the cart is unavailable. I hate that they are closing. Their website was great and their prices were very good too.

That's for the online store. The bricks and mortar store was open 35 years.

I just saw this, too- so sad. When we lived in PA, that was always a stop on the fabric circuit. DH would stop sometimes for a pick up when he was in the area. I loved their FQ bundles they assembled and their selection of batiks- great stuff! Yes, hopefully someone will fill us in.

Is it possible that it's just the online store that's closing?

No. I got 2 emails, one for the store and one for online sales.

I was there last Saturday. Business seemed good as the store was filled with customers. Employees were smiling and seemed to be in good Holiday Spirit...
