Pinterest
I have just discovered 'Pinterest', it is a website people were raving about on my Janome board and it is fabulous. Complete time waster, between that and this board I will never get anything done. It's a fascinating site. Google it.

I love pinterest more than would be considered normal. A total time vampire!
However, it's like my master "bookmark" for quilt ideas I have. I have a board of just quilts and I love knowing that once I pin something, I can get right back to it in a click or two.
If anyone needs/wants an invite, PM me your e-mail address and I will send one!

As with anything, balance is needed, and Pinterest is no exception ... everything in moderation. But yes, set a timer somewhere because Pinterest will consume your time if you let it! Pinterest has wonderful quilt ideas (along with everything else you can think of), and it leads you to the root of the product ... tutorials, directions, where to find it, etc.

It took me a while to figure out how to pin things, but, once I did...LOOK OUT! And, I notice some of the features on the site don't always work properly. I follow pinterest on Facebook (weird, right?) because they post when they are having technical problems or if they are doing an update that causes pins not to stick.

Never could get into face book, BUT Pinterest---WOW what a site. I hit the wrong button a while ago and got off it by mistake. Realized I have been on there to long. So I used up my time today, unfortunatley life interrupted and got other sites to see.

I am one serious Pinterest fan. I love having aplace to keep all the links I'm interested in all in one place, and see a photo. Much more convenient than having bookmarks, where I have to click on each one to find what I'm looking for.
Another great way to use it: My DD, who lives several hours away, is getting married next summer. When I see something she might like, I post it to a board for her. She "follows" my board, and reposts what she likes to a new board that we both share. Now I know what she liked, and didn't.
My quilting board is a great place to store all those "wanna do's".
