How about the turkey one stuffed with used bread wrappers. Where do they come up with these ideas?

I adored the Bulgarian Blunder..am still giggling at the calm comment that the Bulgarian student who inspired this was later deported!!

I feel better about my quilts already! Not that I'm going to try to get a blue ribbon on this judging site.

I thought I had some bad nightmares. Mine look like blue ribbons compared to some of these. Still have a long way to go though.

I liked "Good Grief Charlie Brown" quilt entrants explanation...“My neighbor made a beautiful one. I simply had to prove I could too; only without templates, cutting tools, or accurate measuring!”

uh... isn't that why we have so many tools????

I laughed till I cried over this selection. I promise I will never use turkey or cow material in my quilts, ever!

All I can say is AHHHH, some are not so bad and I think that the judges remarks border on the cruel,I think some of the quilts could be said to be 'ironic', the rest, well at least they tried!

Oh my. Seriously, those make my first attempt look like a masterpiece. Certainly wouldn't win any quilt show awards, but it makes me feel a LOT better! LOL
