Thanks for sharing. Now I know why I get puckers in my quilts. Pressure? Hmmmm!

Excellent info. Now I know why I was crying, trying to get the blanket binding around the quilt I was doing. Will have to get in touch with Pfaff though to figure it out for my 2170. Thanks so much for sharing.

Thanks for sharing. I remember when I was a teenager my first two machines were a cheap little Brother and then I upgraded to a slightly less cheap Kenmore. Both had the ring setting on top and I quickly learned to change the pressure on the presser feet for better results. That's my biggest issue with the older Bernina I use now...there's no way to change the pressure on the feet....I just bought a used Husqvarna Viking Sapphire 830....and once again I can change settings on it. By the way...that 40+ year old Kenmore still works like a new one!

Had no idea that changing the pressure could remedy this problem. Thanks so much for the link!

WOW, you will never know how timely this info is! I'm in the middle of diagonal grid machine quilting a large-ish lap quilt and I think this is definately part of my problem. I had set it aside for a bit to think on it and was just thinking about how I was "wasting" my time being on here. Not.
