That's great! Thanks for the link.

You cut one triangle using two pieces of fabric and sew together and turn. Lay flat and pull up the 3 points together and you will see how it is sewn at the bottom. Pin and sew the bottom side edges half way up and fold down the points.

Love your idea. I need to make one of these. It would be super handy with pincushion on one of the triangles. Can't wait to make one

Thanks for posting my link here! I love that people are making these and enjoying them. I have a number of these - one in every type of on-the-go project that I carry around. They will also fold up nicely and be fairly flat which makes them ideal for taking along.
I'll try to attach the file of one of mine folded... Hope I do this right! Edna |
Edna,
As you can see, everyone that sees it loves it. It was exactly what I was looking for -- just the right size and they really are cute. Thanks for sharing. Ellen |
I made one in about 15 minutes except for sewing on the buttons. They are a really cute and fun project, will make great gifts for my sewing friends. So thanks both to Ellen for posting and Edna for the great tutorial.

You are all very welcome! I enjoy having others get pleasure from things that I create - whether it's the actual item or the instructions to make one of your own.
