I agree about JoAnn having everything I want on sale, so I can't use the coupons either.....I usually try to pawn them off to other people in the store if someone wants them.
I was at one of several JoAnn's in my area-everything 25 miles away in any direction!!!! and this one is re-organizing stuff...what a mess, but they did have much on clearance, like jelly rolls (20 per roll) for 9.95.......and f/q to match at a reduced price. Lots of their garden stuff is already 50-60% off....It seems since they have been purchased by another corp. things are changing...I wonder if it will be better or worse.......

I don't like JoAnn's discount coupon system - its a tease to get you into the store, and then it doesn't apply about 90% of the time. You can go to Hancocks on the 1st and 3rd Wed of each month & get the senior discount on everything...and their senior discount is for younger people. Its either 50 or 55....I qualify either way. I wouldn't qualify for JoAnn's senior discount for several more years....and I try to avoid shopping there because I try not to reward poor business habits....

I was told by a Jo Ann's employee once that the magazine guy puts his mags.off 10% and that's it. That way he won't lose his shirt. And the same goes for the rack by the cutting counters...things that you see on TV...they mark them at 10% so you can't use use the coupon.
