    I think this is a great deal. I have two treadle cabinets with no machine. I am going to look in to it further. Thanks for posting.

    My mother had a Singer fitted with a hand crank that just fastened to the hand wheel with a folding piece that fitted into the wheel so she could use it, or disengage it if she didn't want to use it. It is still on the treadle machine.

    I wonder if that person (designer) went to the Tenn TOGA gatherings. That is a beautiful machine, but I notice that they have more than halved (halfed) the price. Maybe they'll soon figure out a way to put a hand-crank on it--heads up Skip/Glenn.

    My DH is taking us camping off the grid...I'm taking my hand crank,so I don't go into withdrawal LOL!

    Yes, but what if you don't have a cabinet to put it in? Where do you get one? Can you get a NEW hand crank machine now?
