I have the Sew Slip, which is the same thing - and it has made a big difference to me. It really does improve movement and the quilt moves much more smoothly.

I have one and it was a great help to me, not that I am good at FMQ yet, but it helped reduce the sticking on the machine bed.

I bought it, it is ok. I cut it down to fit my machine and cut it down again, it just didn't seem to be a plus to me! I bought the oven liners too but haven't used it! I am very happy with just the gloves! works fo me.

Go all the way to the bottom. One person bought teflon baking sheets.
Yes, a friend of mine bought the teflon oven sheet and she loves it.

Loved mine....ruined it though by getting a tear in it...don't ask! Haven't replaced it yet - but hope to eventually if I can find one on sale.

I purchased about a half yard of clear vinyl at Hobby Lobby. I trimmed and cut it to fit the foot plate of my machine. It covers the sewing table far to the left of the machine and even behind the machine so my entire project glides smoothly. I think I spent $5 or $6. Slider seemed too small and too costly, but hear lots of folks enjoy theirs.

I really like the Machingers the best... they fit snugly and aren't hot. When I lived in MA, I really just used doctor's exam gloves but out here in AZ, they just get too hot! A lot of the gloves work, but because they're too thick and don't fit snugly, you have to take them off every time you need to thread a needle, etc.

I bought the non stick ovenliners also and they are so much cheaper especially if you have the 20% off coupon. Very slippery. Took some getting used to after not having them.
