I just use the school glue pens available 3 for a dollar at dollar tree, they are the elmers washable school glue, and they are refillable, work great!

My Roxanne's basting glue has no metal at all on the tip. It is long thin plastic. The metal tips I bought made the same mess as sticking a pin in the bottle top. What type of metal is best for using with glue?
