Have finished all the Africa map outlines as the stipple to hold the wadding in place. Chucked in a couple of African flags to break it up. I'll be using stitch in the ditch method to join the front and back, still haven't decided what to use for the binding, most likely an animal or snake skin pattern. Have been out shopping for my next project, coming soon.

Have finished sewing together just need to bind and hopefully, I will get this done tomorrow or next few days. I have a Janome binding attachment and it works really well, I have 2 sizes 50mm (2in) and 70mm (2 3/4 in) Spent a few hours cutting binding as I have a few projects about 5 that need to be finished with the binding. Will be great to get these behind me as my next project has 70 embroidered panels back and front and is a big project, it will take a few months to complete

Binding away right now it's a bit of a struggle as I wish I had a large bench with a proper cutaway for the machine to sit in, just to make it easy to handle the quilt when binding. Embroidered quilts tend to be stiff and never go where you want them to be.

The binding is finished, I will redo one corner that I'm not happy with but I can live with it at the moment. Have a couple of other projects that need binding to finish, then onto the next project
