I have the Ellegante and the Brother Quattro2 6700D. For a short time I had the Viking Husqvarna DDD, but I didn't like it.. I've been a Brother girl for so long that the viking felt odd to me...so I traded it straight up for the Quattro and love it! Came with all the extra upgrades too. The drawing pad is a blast as DD has done it twice now and the stitches are great on it which surprised me. I've had the Ellegante for 6 years now and the Quattro2 I just got last month..so still have to play with her a bit. I just sew on the Ellegante now, unless I need to get alot of embroidery done, then I do them both at the same time.

Oh she isn't all that innocent either!!!!!!
You should see some of the emails with links to awesome
designs that she sends me.
If my hubs knew just how much time I drooled over some
of the websites I see he would probably ban my internet access LOL.
(He wouldn't REALLY do that to me, he doesn't like it when I get mean).

most of the people that I have been in contact with are probably very tech savy so I say to them don't you loose something by texting someone instead of hearing their voices.

I have to say the same for me as well. Once I get a design and print the color sheet my darling boyfriend looks at me as "you bought another again?". Of course I tell him that its a good deal and he just says "humph". As long as he can buy his fishing lures I can buy my designs. And the sight you put up is awesome! As for Krystyna, well that's another story....

I agree that some of these designs are very pricey. However, I have noticed a few sites that list designs as a 'pack' price or you can purchase individual designs.....try www.smartneedle.com They also have lots of free designs to try.
Another favorite is embroiderygarden.com She has tons of reasonably priced designs and free ones also.

For those of you that are unsure of what stabilizer to use for your embroideries, I was taught that the lighter the fabric the heavier the stabilizer; you then avoid puckers in your embroidery. It has always worked for me. I have a Viking SELE and 5D Pro.
