This is so pretty. You should be very proud. I like the little elf on the train and also the gingerbread house. The reign deer pulling Santa's sleigh adds a nice touch.

Hi I have made another two of these skirts as a member of the family really wanted one for next Xmas, made it with silver stars and different applique on all the scenes. I also found a different skirt as a Nativity scene, a completely different set of files to stitch out ..there is no applique, just all embroidery, still have to put the backs on all three, that's the next job.

Needs to be noted, this is NOT HAND APPLIQUE.
the applique is part of the embroidery.
Didn't want to scare anyone off from getting this design

Beautiful skirts posted!

This Applique is not complicated .It is a learning curve and there are plenty of tutorial's on YouTube with this skirt to get you going if you aren't confident to start with . This project has an extensive PDF on how to proceed through for first timers with many photos of how to do it ..Machine embroidery applique to me is a breeze..its all lay-ed out before your eyes as you go..it can be over whelming when there are multi layers but just be calm and it will all fall into place .This project has a max of six or seven overlays on each of the panels... .just follow the instruction and you will get through it..There are a lot of hours (40-50) in the embroidery-applique so patience is a must ..You don't have to stick to the colors in both applique or embroidery its your choice..

Beautiful tree skirts. Love each design and your creativity with the fabrics. I agree the tutorials are step by step and easy to follow.

Beautiful tree skirts. I just finished the last panel of the tree skirt using a 5 x 7 hoop and although I still have to trim and sew everything together, it was so much fun I’m already planning to make a larger version. It’s addictive and fun.
