1/4" Quilting Foot or Piecing Foot?
#11
The first one is the one you want - with the guide on the side. Everyone I know had foot envy after using mine and got them and no longer use the second style foot, without the guide. It's a great foot for an accurate 1/4" seam - at least mine is an accurate 1/4" ;)

Both these feet are for piecing, they both have 1/8" (left) and 1/4" (right) toes on them for correct spacing.
The one that has what looks like a sled runner on the right side is for butting your fabric up to it as you sew, intended for helping to maintain that 1/4".
This flanged foot is intended for the edge of your piece, and does not work well if you are sewing inside or within your piecing.
Still, as has often been posted, actually measure from the needle to the side of the foot to see if it really is 1/4" (or 1/8" on the left toe) as the specs can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
