Does anyone know where we can get the quality 100% kona cotton fabric, all the time? I bought from www.fabric.com, and got several of theirs. Only 2 of them was quality cottons....all the rest is like the cheap broadcloth. I sent them an email yesterday, since I bought them in June, and most wasn't delivered until after July..some even in Oct., I am not sure of they will make them right now. I know moda cottons are always good, all I have bought anyway. Any thoughts or suggestions for this?

Are you anywhere near The Doormouse in Ohio? I don't know about Kona but they sure do carry some beautiful and high quality fabrics.

I don't have any problems with Jo-Anns Kona cotton. All that I have seen in the stores has been good quality. I have gotten the 45 (at least I think it was 45 inches) and the 90 wide and it worked up beautiful. The only complaint is that is shrinks more than the regular cotton, so I make sure I always wash it first.....

I guess I'm lucky that there are several quilt shops around me. I agree with Connie. I have to feel the fabric.... I don't want to spend the time making a quilt if the fabric is too flimsy... it won't hold up over time.

I have ordered kona cotton from Pink Chalk fabrics. They have every color of the rainbow. Good quality. I would definitely order from them again. www.pinkchalkfabrics.com

Try www.fatquartershop.com. This shop is in Texas and I order from them all the time. They have very nice quaility fabrics and their service is awesome.
