2 Boys and a Mom Summer FW quilt

They are not perfect. Nor will the quilt be perfect. I am not experienced as many of the woman on here. I've only been quilting serious for a year or so. But alot of this is being done by kids. Yes my 10 and 14 year old children.

What a great project to be able to spend precious time with your boys not to mention a great math learning experience for them too. It looks very nice. Just think of the memories you and your boys will have.

A great way to spend time with your kids. For more stash, if your kids have clothes they no longer wear use the best parts for making your blocks. That will add to their memories, especially later in life when they look back at their time with you. Others on here have bought clothes at garage sales and places that sell used clothing. Look for full skirts etc. for the best buys with the most fabric. Hope you all have a fun memorable summer.

Great idea, doing it as a family and boys need to know how to sew just as much as girls! Anyway, I have some extra scraps/stash lying around that I need to get rid of and I you would be interested in some of it PM me with addy and I would love to contribute to the family project.

What a great mom you are to teach your sons. They are learning so much more that can be taught in a classroom. It will be something they remember forever. The first two blocks look great. Can't wait to see the finished quilt.
