we would all live in a big community with our big sewing club house, wouldn't that be fun!

I love all your comments! I'm a newbie who doesn't quilt YET...will start classes next month! I'm gaining so much practical advice here about colors, patterns, and tools, that I feel like I know something already! Heartfelt thanks to the thread about cleaning a black pot. I thought I destroyed my favorite saucepan by brewing up a batch of cinnamon potpourri. The house smelled great, but I forgot to add water to it. Thanks to the thread about baking soda and Cascade, my pot looks brand new!
Yesterday I bought a purse pattern that someone recommended. This is one great source of info. THANK YOU ALL!

I see very little negativity here myself. But this is a huge forum (compared to some others I've been on) and it's only natural there would be a few bad apples in the bunch. But the great folks here far outweigh the unpleasant ones and I'm happy every day that I found you all. :D
