Yes, it is addicting, I stopped by the fabric store Monday to get a package of needles, they didn't have what I wanted, but I bought 5 different kinds of material instead :)........oh my, I had better buy some needles tomorrow :)

No, no, no. Whatever gave you that idea? I have no addiction. I can walk right by fabric and never even glance at it.

(Yea RIGHT~ That explains why I went into two different stores today - one a LQS and the other JoAnne's - and walked out with fabric. AND why I've ordered fabric from a friend of a friend who is selling her $10K stock of the store she used to own - killer deals with her!

    De-nile is a river in Egypt! :D L0L)

yeah, i have an addictive personality :( I told myself i have enough stash and wasnt going to buy anything else until i used most of it and what did i do? bought more. Its too tempting! As you said, so many nice fabrics. To my own defense i have used some of my stash fabric, but what i bought just brought the pile up to the same amount again!

Welcome to the addiction. There is never enough fabric...often have to hit the LQS for just the right thing to finish the project.

Fabric Addiction goes beyond just wanting to buy fabric. There is the issue of "if I use it then I won't have it any more." So if I use any of my fabric then I am on the mission of making sure I get more of that same fabric so I still have it. I have bought approximately 16 different fabrics in the last week. It is madness. When someone asked me to make them something, I invite them to my stash and they are shocked at the amount of fabric I have. We all need help so don't feel alone.

I always go thru my stash. I very seldom have to go purchase anything which of course would lead to more stash. My biggest problem is JoAnn's coupons. If I have one I have to use it. Can't pass up 50% off. And if your getting 50% off fabric you might as will get twice as much.... and on, and on, and......

On this quilting board you are in the majority, not the minority.

Yes, I have that problem too and I can say recently I've been on a fabric diet ... but it's like any diet to me - I keep slipping and telling myself "just this little piece" :(
