Having a stash and starting a project have no connection to each other. LOL I think we need a bumper sticker "She who has the most stash wins"

I have a number of beliefs:

1/ every fabric deserves an owner who can appreciate it for it's beauty.

2/ there is no such thing as TOO much fabric.

3/ there is always justification for buying that special piece of fabric on sale.

4/ I can control my desire to add to my stash.

' Course my sponser at the weekly Fabriholics Anonymous meetings keeps telling me I have a longggggg way to recovery. :hunf: :hunf: :hunf: :hunf:

What does she know? - 'probably not a quilter :hunf: :hunf: :hunf: :hunf: :hunf:

I do shop from my stash when starting a new project and can usually come up with most of what I need for it but always seem to lack at least one fabric. So off to the LQS or online to search and always end up buying the one fabric I need to complete that project plus anything else that screams my name. I also can't seem to pass up a sale. There is always at least one fabric on clearance that I just have to have. So my stash never seems to go down but instead seems to be growing by leaps and bounds. LOL It is futile to fight this addiction. I figure as long as i can afford it I will buy it. Soon we will be retired and won't have as much money but I will still have a great stash to quilt from.

I have thousands of yards of fabric in my quilting room. I have vowed not to buy any more until I can see a dent in what I have. I do make quilts from the stash but have not been able to NOT buy anymore until now. Maybe, I am turning over a new leaf!!!!

Well, at least being addicted to fabric doesn't ruin your health -- just your pocketbook!
