If you are content with the size. no reason to add a border.

I'm so glad that I asked, you all gave me the push to make the right decision. No turning back now, I've just sandwiched it all together and it is laid out on the dining room table ready to be quilted... With no border

Also, I measured again and had enough length of the lighter brown to make the whole of the backing fabric, so I'm very happy with that too. I'm going to sandwich a few scrap pieces together and have another try at FM in the morning. How to get it neat is escaping me at the moment, but hopefully, this might turn out to be my first quilt I attempt it on.

That looks perfect and would make a very nice finish!

Keep up the good work Damkina...I'm glad you decided not to add a border as it might have taken away from your quilt top but the brown binding will be nice.

Very pretty quilt and a bonus to have enough leftovers for backing!

Very pretty log cabin. I like the idea of it having the dark brown for binding & no border

I am seeing more and more borderless quilts that look great. I think this could be one. It doesn't 'require' a frame to stop the eye. If it is large enough for what you are going to use it for, I would skip the border. I might think about quilting something in the center squares using a burgundy/brown thread.

Whatever you decide, it's a beautiful quilt. Good job!

If you don't have enough fabric left from the center blocks, as tkhooper suggestested, then I would leave it the way it is. By the way, it's really pretty!
