I wash anything I get from garage sales as a matter of fact.
If I read you were selling something you purchased unwashed I wouldn't buy it.
In the end it your decision to make. But, most definatly wash whatever you want keep before you put in your home.

Personally any garage sale fabric is going in the washer. You never know what could be lurking in it. I know we have to worry about things in stores coming into our homes, don't want to risk bringing any little unseen critters into the house from somebody elses homes.

I don't always wash fabric like that, but I do always treat anything from a thrift store, yard sale, etc. to a nice ride in my hot dryer!

Regardless of where I purchase my fabric, EVERYTHING gets washed as soon as I bring it in the house and washed before it leaves the house as a gift.
