Since she was so kind in passing you the "addiction" I sincerely hope she also taught you how to re-think grocery day (how can I make kraft dinner into tons of things so I have extra money for fabric) if I juggle this, I can buy yup more fabric - how about the "sewing machine addiction" did she warn you of that too? Cuz God forbid you only have WHAT....3 machines? nope need more......and sew on and sew on.....LOL Welcome from Nova Scotia....Wendy

My sisters and I were raised with a sewing machine of our own by the time I was 9 years old. ( don't want to say how many years ago that was ). We had to make our own school clothes by the time we were young teenagers. So we all had the basics for garment making. I believe for Deb and I it was more the time to explore and just have fun with our sewing that got us both addicted. She started a bit later but is catching up very quickly. She is totally addicted now. She is in the throws of her addiction while I am sort of in Rehab you my say. No more purchases for this girl except the necessities to live. (quilt backing, batting, and sometimes thread).

LOL!! Sisters do that to you!! Enjoy your fun time together. Welcome to the "Quilt Addiction Club" but watch out for those pesky LQS.

I just wrote somewhere else I now have 10 machines that are all useable at the drop of a dime. I think my sister has 4 or 5 now... humm... have to ask her when she is not sewing. Julia

It's very very contagious so don't be to hard on her.
Just wondering, how did she catch it?

I hear ya! The "pusher" in my life was my neighbor. If we only knew then...
