Can't help you there. I just wanted to say congrats on the perfect X-mas pressie, and have fun when they finally let you play with it.

I bought my cabinet for my Bernina from Ken's Sew N Vac (I think that is the name) in Muscle Shoals, AL and it came all assembled except for the casters. They have a great website and lots of choices. I am so happy for your new addition!!

Love, love, love my Bernie. Also the 440QE! Do all my sewing on that machine. Enjoy!

(I'd sneak it out of the box and sew while DH snores--but that's just me.)

I'm so jealous. I would to have a new machine and even a new cabinet. Right now my sewing consists of a 3 x 4 x 4 foot folding table, A bench for my seat and another folding table set up for my cutting and ironing table. Worse of all, they are all set up in my den instead of my very small, very full craft room. I really need to invest in one of those building that have electricity ran to it. Yeah right, not in my lifetime. Congrads on your newbies.

I have the 440QE too. This fall, I bought a Horn cabinet from my local dealer. I got a great deal on it and got a new chair too. It is so well made and I just love the cabinet. I have a small room, but now I can really do my own quilting. There is a lot of room for supporting quilts while sewing.

My DH is sleeping between me and my Benina with a tripwire attached. Maybe I could do that Catherine Zeta Jones thing at the Museum when she slithers between the rays to get to the prize!!!

You will be thrilled with your new dream machine. I know nothing about the cabinet, but do hope you have an extention on the back that can lift up for working with larger quilts, etc. Enjoy and feel very loved. :-D
