If only getting snowed in meant that we would have absolutely nothing else to do and could get some time to quilt. If only!!! :)

I love the snow and have never minded being "snowed in". But....enough is enough. LOL A friend sent me this picture and I thought it was very appropriate.

I love the snow - It does give me lots of time to sew!! Someone said it best however - hubbies are snowed in as well!! - but as far as I am concerned I am glad, as one of these pictures will show. 8-)

Icicles seem to be a problem this year but my birdies seem to be happy as long as we keep them fed!

I love an excuse to not have to go and do anything but sew and play at home. What the heck, it is winter after all!

We did miss church twice from blizzard conditions. So far we have not missed any work. That being said, to get to work, we are hoofing it up and over drifts in the driveway to get to the truck that we have to leave parked at the road. Drifts are too deep for even the truck to get thru', and the fella that usually clears our driveway has been away the last two weeks. My boss's son is coming today with a bobcat to dig us out. When it drifts like this it gets almost like cement, so a snow blower or plow won't do the job. Our driveway is about 450'....it really is getting old not being able to drive up to the house!!!!!

I feel bad for the city dwellers who have to park on the street at this time of year. They have run out of places to put the snow that they shovel from around their cars, it's against the law to throw it into the road and once they get their car cleaned out someone else will come along and take their space
