    Alligator Tales baby quilt

One of these days I'm going to actually have a pattern in mind when I buy material. This was another "fly by the seat of my design wall" pattern. Still, I like it, even though it's larger than the crib sized batting I bought for it. I made the back a little "softer" for variety. Not sure how to quilt it. Suggestions?

It doesn't look to me as if you need a formal pattern. Cute as can be.

it's an adorable quilt. the individual blocks lend themselves to SITD. in the open blocks, i'd quilt some animal shape, a tree branch with leaves, or, at the bottom right water with fish.

Your quilt is adorable. I think your design wall, fly by the seat of your pants idea works just fine.

I saw this panel at my LQS and didn't know what to do with it so I didn't buy it. I like what you have done!

When I first glanced at the title I thought it said Alligator takes baby quilt... I guess you'd understand if you lived
where I live....anyway sure do think you did a great job "by the seat of your pants" on pattern and fabric. So cute.

No quilting suggestions, but for a "fly-by-the-seat" quilt, that is really cute

No real alligators here. We do have a quilt-eating dog we have to watch!
