My darlings have several quilts. The problem is that they think every quilt I work on is theirs!

My Greyhound has 4 quilts for sleeping and a coat made from an antique double wedding ring. I was just thinking of making her another quilt , maybe a 'minky'

your not the only one. I make little quilts for my cats. I put them in their favorite spots to lay so the hair collects on them and not my furniture. So easy to wash those instead of the big quilts in the house. :)

Oh no, you're not alone. First I knitted some small afghans for my grandpuppies but one of them found it tasty. Then I made some small quilts which they like very much.

I just got word that the golden retriever that I made the quilt for is on her way to the vets for the BIG shot. She would be 12 yrs old in a couple of weeks. She has cancer. Having made this trip myself several times over the years, I really bad for my daughter.

I am so sorry. That is the reason we don't have a doggy right now. After having to do this same thing, We just couldn't handle doing it again. It was like loosing one of our Children!!!

My heart goes out to you and your daughter. These precious beings become family, no longer just pets. Loss is difficult. I am glad you have a wonderful memory of her and her quilt.
