I'm one of your crowd.....in fact at the quilt classes I have to remove my shoe and some get a chuckle out of me hobbling one shoe on, one off to the ironing and cutting boards. It works best for me. The big toe is my work leader!

I don't think that you are alone in this one! lol Even when I am sewing and it is cold in my sewing room, I will have one cold foot and one warm one! lol Have you tried sandals? I found that "crocs" aren't bad or leather soft sole slippers work well.

This is so funny. I am not supposed to go barefoot but I do and I never sew with shoes on. My shoes come off as soon as they can and go on at the door when leaving. I cook and clean without shoes and I have been known to play the piano at church with no shoes.

I wear shoes for almost everything. I'm flatfooted and really need the support of the shoes.
Course I always take my right shoe off when sewing whether at home, club or class. I'm so glad I'm not the only one!
