Me....I can't sew with shoes on either. I put a spare pair of ballerina slippers in my large quilting carry tote so they're there when I need them!

I like to feel the pedal too! Socks are ok, but not shoes.

What are shoes for except to kick off! (or to wear when shopping for quilt material)

    quilt for fun grandmaG
I have never taken my shoes off in the house or doing anything. When I was younger I went barefoot all the time possibe. I had hip surgery about 14 years ago and the Dr made my leg longer so I have to have the right shoe built up so shoes are on all the time. I still love to sew.

Dropped a knife on my foot in November and nicked a tendon so am not allowed in the kitchen without shoes ;-)

That said I did kick my shoes off under the table while I was sewing today.
