Another rag quilt question

I am moving closer to starting a rag quilt for my daughter for Christmas, but I have another question. I have already spent a lot on flannel for the front and will have to purchase more for the back. I just found about 6+ yards of flannel that I had purchased some years ago and have some others that I plan to use for the center (I am going to do it with 3 layers of flannel and no batting). But I just realized that the flannel in my stash has been washed and the flannel I purchased for the front and will purchase for the back have not been...so, do I just make it or do I need to wash the unwashed flannel so it is all washed. Gosh, I am not sure if that made any sense  but perhaps you get the gist of what I am asking.
Any help would sure be appreciated!

Thanks, normally I don't think I would wash it for a rag quilt, but since some of it has been washed I was concerned about it getting wonky from some shrinking and some already
shrunk.
Thanks.
