Any binding advise about machine binding?

Buckeye Rose, what are some of the deco stitches you use. My quilts are going to children in orphanages and I would like to put that zing in them that you mentioned. Thanks

Thanks for all your comments on how you do it. I'm going to try some of them out on some potholders first to see which one would be the best for me.
