They are called "Machingers" and I wear them anytime I am free-motion quilting. There are other brands, but I like these the best.

I have been using machingers or whatever they are called for several years. I love them. I have tried other things but they are the best. They make it much easier to control the quilt and my hands don't get as tired.

I have them, love them. I started by using latex finger cots (a rubber glove for a single finger), and they worked, but I don't like 'disposable' stuff and they didn't last long enough to be economical. Saw the "Machingers" on sale for $2.00 one day so have been using them since.

Since I got my first pair over a year or so ago I haven't quilted without them. They make quilting so much easier. I use the machingers gloves cause I can even thread the needle with them on. Hope you try them.

I asked my husband to get me a specific type, Grab-A-Roos, and a lady at the sewing store told him to buy cheap gardening gloves. I borrowed Grab-A-Roos from a friend and love them. They are light-weight and fitted which allow me to freely bend and do many other function without removing them. The gardening gloves are okay, but are bulky and I must remove them to do any type of snipping, trim, or positioning. I finally ordered some for myself and he was not one bit offended. Guess I'll have to plant a garden!
