I did one without the rulers. I bought them for RRCB. They were very handy, and have used them on other projects, so they were a good (low cost) investment.

I bought they for RRCB too, and they work really well!

Hi Jacquie...I'm so glad you reported that it's not for the beginner ...umm or the faint of heart. My middle names are Easy Peasy and I'm not into challenging piecing....not that I won't step out of my comfort zone but you made up my mind....I'll be like others and enjoy watching the progress.

I'm up for a mystery challenge. I'll have to save it and start after the holidays. Good luck to all and have fun!

I never heard of a mystery quilt but it sounds fascinating. I still have so much to learn and this sounds like a fun way to pick up some new techniques. Thanks for posting the link.

I think I may be in on this one, also. I don't need another project (think a zillion UFOs) but I do need some motivation to quilt each week. This could get me "rolling" so to speak.

No, I've never participated in a 'mystery' I do admire Bonnie Hunter and her work.
