I've never made one but have pondered on it from time to time. Using the serger seems like a great idea, and would use up some stash that needs to be used........I have always used a plastic liner that gets replaced often hanging behind the fabric shower curtain. . hhmmm.....so many projects, so little time.

My sister-in-law did and it was a stunner. It really set the tone for the decor of the bathroom.

I made one using a turning 20 pattern. I did line it but did not put batting in, and it has a clear plastic liner also. Works Great

I made one years ago that matched my wallpaper. It came out really nice. Both it and the wallpaper are now gone but we used it a long time.
It wasn't pieced but I don't see why you couldn't make one.

I made one for our grandchildren's bathroom at their mom's request. She also wanted a "window" in it to allow the light in, as the shower did not have one placed over the tub. I used vinyl from another shower curtain with a bubble design, grommets in the header and the fabric she chose. It has survived 6 years so far LOL They pair it with a clear vinyl shower curtain, so I made sure my grommets were standard placement.

Hard to see the entire thing as it was draped over my guest room bed. They live in VA so never got a pic of it hung, but see it when I am there : )

I made one using filmy stripes fabric I picked up in Aruba while On vacation (yes I dragged boyfriend along) It is in the colors of tans and Carribean blues. I have a clear plastic liner. Every time we shower it is a reminder of thse wonderful days we spent getting to know each other.

I made one 15 years ago, I layered it with flannel & backing, used a vinyl unattached liner on shower side. I loved it. When we moved again 5 years later it didn't go with showers in new house so I converted it into a very large tote to carry my large cutting mat & portable table to Stitch Camp-still use it.

I made one about 15 years ago and it hung in my bathroom until a couple months ago, when I got bored with it. I used a panel and complementary fabric and used a second panel for a window curtain. The window curtain shredded when I tried to wash it to give away from the sun on the cotton degrading it. Go figure.

They are beautiful and could really dress up a bathroom. If you are using strips or big blocks, you could piece with the surger and you would not have to line it.

My sister has a primitive style home and I made her one 7 years ago I don't have a serger so I did back it with muslin the fabric I used were woven! Sadly I don't have a picture of it.
