    Thanks Izy! She was worried as she didn't have any make-up on!!!! :roll: and she had 'bedhair'!!!!!!! :lol:

    FYI...I have an Elna, not sure what year, but there were times it has looped and bunched the bobbin thread. I have noticed the bobbin thread doesn't alway wind right, so I guide the thread right off the spool between two fingers with a touch of pressure. Good thread works better too (old thread breaks/frays/knots quicker.
    She did a wonderful job!

    Thanks! I think the bobbin was the problem loosely wound! It didn't seem to like Gutterman thread!! We got there and she completed her project!! I have 2 machines here so we had a 'plan B' but didn't have to use it!!!!
