HMK I'm the same as you...I got a roll of Quilter's Dream Bamboo and hated it the whole time I was using it. I had never seen sooo much fluff and dust bunnies. I will agree, that it quilted up nicely, but, due to the fluff, the shedding (where it comes through your fabric) and the general allergies that flared when using it, I would never buy it again. I will only use 100% Cotton from now on...regardless of what the store clerks try to sell me.

i've only used the bamboo batts from the Dream Company- i'm not a fan of Fairfield batts of any fiber- but the Dream Bamboo and Dream Orient are both wonderful- i've never had any (migration) problems like HMK is having- and i have used it with black fabrics- it is a wonderful batt that quilts beautifully, washes up great- makes wonderful quilts---again- i don't know anything about the Fairfield ones---i stay away from their batts.

I like it, I'm hearing rumors that at some point fabric will be made from bamboo...and not cotton
