Default Bargello Time

I have these fabrics, and even though I love them, I don't know if they'll make a pretty bargello. I did the thing with B&W photo. Now I'm more confused than ever. Please give me your honest opinion, I don't want to go to all that work and it looks awful. Thanks

Your lights look good but I think you need some contrast between your darks so they don't all read the same. I've never done a Bargello so what do I know.

To me the two blues look out of place. I would discard them.

Pretty colours, but some are too close together in colour... I did a class and was told to have two darks, two lights and the rest inbetween... I used 12 fabrics, my friend had 14... really wouldn't use as many as you have..I would think twice about the blues, but try them when you get your colours together and see what you think... looking through a camera while they are like that is a really good idea... we were taught that too... any colours that should not be there would stand out like a sore thumb.... hope all goes well for you... these quilts turn out beautiful... wish I could show you mine...

Those are pretty fabrics and I have never done a bargello, but the blue does seem to me to be out of place. I really like the rest of them. Very rich looking.
