Hey Barb:
No problem whatsoever. I just figured I am going to have to wait until I have more time, like the first of the year. I just cannot add that project right now. But you do give great tips and I will definitely get back to your tutorial soon.
May God pour down His Blessings on you, you deserve it!

The tute was done long ago. Check the virtual section or a few pages back in this thread.

I had to go over and over it several times.

Your strips will not all be the same length, because not all fabrics are the exact same size. So one may be an inch or more shorter than another.

But relax for now.
Best wishes for your recovery. I just ran across this topic and was thinking of doing a bargello. I've bookmarked this and will get to it eventually. :) Can't wait to finish reading all the posts and organize the qeuestions and answers.

Gaigai, thanks for helping out while I was gone. Ganny, Trisha and the others who are thinking of making the bargello, I have been away taking radiation for my breast cancer. I need about a week or so and I will be able to help on a more consistent basis. Please don't give up, once you get it...it will go easily.
I wish I could have told how to do this quilt in a very few steps, but thought since I had made at least 25 of these I had a system that allowed me to cut and sew these to completion in a very short time. None of the steps has to be done exactly the way I told you do them, that is just the way I do it to keep me from getting confused.

Anyway, if you need my help I will be here.
