I think this is the idea I'm going with, but as I do not have the animal print, only the panel, I think I'll try to figure out how to incorporate the corn block into the top, and something else in the side rectangles.

Thanks for sharing the idea and link. I didn't think to try looking at equilter for ideas/patterns.
