Default Barnyard Selfies panel design help please

http://www.hancocks-paducah.com/SHOP...-Panel-24-Inch

I have this panel, which I absolutely love!
The only problem is I cannot figure out how to make it into a quilt. I was thinking of bordering each block with a common colour, and making some additional blocks like a 16 patch or something and bordering them like the print blocks. Maybe some hour glass blocks? Some flying geese or half square triangles????

I'm open to ideas....

You could use the Hole in the Barn Door block around each picture in different colours. I don't know how big the pictures are put pieced corn plants on each side might be cute with pieced pumpkins rows between them.

The panel is 24 inches wide approximately, so the centre rectangle is close to that wide. The other squares are fairly large, but I think your idea might work.

Not sure what "pieced corn plants" are though....

Adorable! Such cute faces just make ya smile. I might pick 2-3 colors from the panel and frame them in alternating small checkered and/or solid fabric. I think too much more going on would detract from the faces.

I really like this free one from equilter - the download button for the pattern is at the bottom.

Darn cute panel! Love the one that EasyPeezy posted if you had extra fabric.
