I love Batiks. . . someday I hope to have a drawer like that too!!! I am keeping pictures for my husband to build my "sewing room" someday!

Sadly, no stach for me yet. But I am working on it! I love the blues . . .

I travel for a living and take my neighbor and friend with me as often as I can - we are both batik freaks and hit every lqs from home to where ever we are headed and back again! Needless to say my batik stash is overflowing 3 totes (tho only one is a big one). My colors are purples, golds, and teals mainly but now am branching out to hot pinks! Can't seem to get enough of them!!

I tend to lean toward cooler colors in anything I do...but I have bits of all colors in batiks, since I just bought several cuts (Noodles and FQs) to be able to make my step daughter a quilt for Christmas.

Oh maybe an even bit of everything. I am pulling some for an applique project.

OOOHHH!! Janet, when you make this one, please put up pictures...two of my favorites are French Braid and batiks. I can't wait to see how yours comes out!!

Oh yeah, about my stash....of batiks, it is pretty thin, but hope to add to it in the future. It's all about the $$, or lack, right now!!

My favorite color is BLUE!! At one time I had 4 good sized plastic boxes with just blues. Over the years I have used up a bit. Now, I am trying to expand. I have found that I live Earth tones a lot, tans, greens, browns. Rich deep quiet colors. I just recently discovered that I like Batiks. I love the randomness of the way they flow.

Just curious of the cost. The only quilt shop I visit in Vegas sells the Batiks at the same price as the cotton-$9.50 yd.

I just started getting interested in them (I have enough of an addiction to fabric buying and I really tried to ignore batiks, but alas...), so I only have a handful of fqs, and they are in the purple and blue range.
