Just curious of the cost. The only quilt shop I visit in Vegas sells the Batiks at the same price as the cotton-$9.50 yd.

I don't have enough of a stash for batiks, mainly because I keep using them and it doesn't get a chance to build up. The only colors I don't really have any or very few of is the earth tones. Love the blues/aquas/purples/orange/red colors.

I have a bit of everything. I started with fall colors but I've been adding purples, greens & blues. I need pinks but have not found anything that talks to me yet. How much do y'all buy at a time?

I found a great seller on eBay - "Philly Fabrics" - that sells 3 yard batik cuts for $12.99, and less than $5 for shipping. I have purchased from her many times, and always great service, good quality of fabric. For smaller cuts I buy at my LQS, average $9-$10/yd

I love batiks. Haven't really started a stash of them.
I do have some Hoffman Bali Pops. Just finished a large lap (top only done see below) with the cappuccino jelly rolls. Like the one TwistedStitcher made. Will be starting another quilt with the Green Tea, Spumoni and Berry Bliss. Using a pattern from Scrap-Basket Surprises.

I love batiks. My stash isn't very big yet, but what I do have is pretty varried. When I have enough (is there ever enough?) I want to do a batik quilt. Not sure of the pattern yet. I also use batiks quite a lot for borders.
