I have seen a difference in f-m with different batting.

I am using Hobbs poly-down batting for the first time in a quilt. I have had 2 pleats on the back at the line intersections. I have never had this happen with the Warm and White batting. It may be due to my inexperience quilting loftier batting. It is a child's quilt, so I wanted loftier batting.

I only use warm & natural. Poly is awful for me to quilt.

A lot of my long-arm friends use 80/20. I had one done with that and it is so heavy I can hardly lift it to fold it. The l/a I use now uses Mountain Mist Quilt-Lite that I buy at JAF on sale. I like the lighter weight quilts. She doesn't mind the poly and does a real good job with it.

Love my Hobbs 80/20, makes a real big difference. I have used the Warm & Natural, not pleased with it. I use that when I run out of my Hobbs. Hobbs wool is fabulous as well.
