I almost always have used poly batting, high loft and I love it. I was just at my Son's new home and saw two old quilts. I remembered some of the squares in them, he said I had made them, many years ago, I had forgotten. Long story short. I had used poly batting in them, they were so worn some of the squares were totally gone but the batting was still there.

I like the Hobbs Polydown for certain projects...and just ordered some more of it. It's very easy to sew and I had no trouble with it coming through my fabrics. I quilt on my home sewing machine and this batting makes that easier because you can really scrunch it up to go through the arm...and it's lightweight so no sore arms.

But...when I want that crinkled antique look, I use the Hobbs 80/20 or Warm and Natural.
