I have used thread stuff in the blue box. Does the beeswax leave any kind of residue? Do youneed to pull between finger and thumb to remove excess?

My great grandmother told me it was great for making the needle slip through the fabric easier.

I've had the same little round container for 30 years or so. It really helps my not-so-young eyes and hands thread needles (hand or machine). I didn't know of all the uses for it, otherwise. I think this board is the greatest thing since quilting was invented!

I use it all the time. I enve use it to thread my sewing machine needle. Run it along the whole length of you thread when hand sewing and it won't tangle and knot.

I had trouble finding Bees Wax here locally . So I got Thread Heaven. I use it all the time and love it. Works just as well as Bees Wax on the thread.

I bought a small amount at Ace Hardware but then I saw a one pound bar in Hobby Lobby and with a coupon it was less than 5.00 but cannot remember exactly. One pound is enough to share with friends and family. Great for using on wooden drawers to make them slide better also.

It especially makes hand basting so much easier.

I really like it...

I haven't used it, but I might try it - it could come in handy for hand sewing. Thanks for the tip.
