:thumbup: Try a 6x6 the add 2" slashing around each block then sew them. Like Black always make a quilt Pop... or something in your main block. pick out a color as slashing.... Good luck with it.. :thumbup:

Try the carpenters star, it's really easy. Just squares and triangles. There is a couple of websites that give the best instructions. It can be put together in quarters. One or two are on this board. :-D

Hey Mizlee, I bought a book called "first time quilt making" it has small quilts in it. I use it when I need to make something quick. Am a dabbler so I use the books I bought, the internet and the group always knows where to go! This group is like having your best friend next door.
