They aren't closing in central Florida. My dealer is probably one of the most knowledgeable. He helped design, and he tested the new 830 (out in 2008).

I thought that all the Bernina stores in Hancocks were coporate owned. The one that was in Hancocks in my town closed about 2 years ago.

Bernina of America is closing all of their retail stores that are located inside Hancock's Fabric stores. This does not affect the independent Bernina dealers.

They are corporate-owned and these are the ones that Bernina of America is closing.
