Bernina sewers: Machine applique foot
I was reading about the Bernina #23 applique foot (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sq92Ded4oZo). I'm wondering if it a necessary tool for wool and cotton applique.
What foot do you use on your Bernina for applique?

I use #20 for cotton applique. It's an open toe foot. When I use it, I move the needle all the way to the left or right so I can "ride" the inside edge of the foot along the edge of the applique. I don't do wool applique by machine, so not sure about the foot to use for that.

I also use the #20 foot for my Bernina 1230. Not sure if the #23 is even available for my machine.
I will say that my machine applique with my older machine and the #20 foot generally looks better than that demo'd in this Youtube video:
