Good luck. I have a 730. It didn't work right from the beginning. I was told it isn't the machine it is the electronics. My dealer wouldn't do anything. I will never buy another Bernina.

Have heard of some having several recurring issues like this, and not getting any joy from the dealers. The ladies contacted the head offices of their particular brand, and their machines were replaced. You should try that.

I am very glad they gave you another one, "to make you happy". Sheesh, what a terrible experience.

I would want a replacement. The store should have the insurance to cover the cost of a bad machine at their end. You shouldn't have to be responsible. As long as it is under warranty give it one more chance, if not fixed, get it replaced and I would also contact my credit card company ( if that is how you paid) to stop payment if not remedied.

Also contact the Bernina Headquarters about the problem.

Good luck and hope it gets resolved with little trouble.
