Default Best place to buy roll of fleece for backing

I like using fleece for backing. Has anyone found a good source for large quantities of fleece? I'd like to get a roll similar to batting. Thanks.

Try Fabrics.com or JoAnns.

I checked JoAnn's but didn't find rolls of fleece, just fleece by the yard. I'll check Fabrics.com. I'm hoping to get a sizable price break by purchasing in bulk. Thanks!

Thanks. So I'd be buying a large quantity of fleece by the yard, not on a big roll like the way I buy my batting?

I don't know about the best place, but I Googled "fleece on a roll" and found some websites that way:
https://www.fleece-fabric.com/
http://fleece4sale.com/
http://fleeceforsale.net/cart/index....index&cPath=65
https://www.picotextiles.com/?gclid=...SAAEgKOA_D_BwE

This one is wholesale so maybe does not sell retail:
https://fabricdirect.com/acatalog/fl...id-prints.html

Edit: How many yards are you thinking of? Just looked around a bit on those websites, and fleece seems to run about 60 yards for a roll. The bigger issue may be shipping costs. Depending on what you are thinking of, you may want to consider buying by the bolt instead. I suppose the yardage for a bolt depends on the thickness of the fleece, but not sure. JoAnn's does sell by the bolt.

As Prism99 pointed out - try pico textiles. I like picotextiles. I have never bought a roll, but I would go to them to check it out

marshall dry goods wholesale has fleece. I have bought from them before and if they have what you like they would be worth talking to as well. They are wholesale but as long as you have a business name to ship to they were ok with shipping to me

Marshalla dry goods (MDG) also has a retail web site. http://www.marshalldrygoods.com/prod...y/2-99-a-yard/

from there, you can look at all the other categories of retail fabric for sail on MDG.

Thanks for the info. I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for! I buy my batting by the roll and I find it convenient so I thought maybe I could do the same with fleece. I'll keep exploring the links above.

Malden Mills was once the "Go To" place for fleece until they burned down. It appears that they came back stronger than ever, especially with their polar-tec. When I googled Malden Mills fleece on a roll, this came up www.owfinc.com Very interesting.
