Default Hi and Baby Lock Pro Line BL6150 Questions

Hi, I'm Lori and am just getting started on the quilting path.

Someone gave me a singer Creative Touch 1036 but it won't wind a bobbin and won't hold a prewound bobbin. In frustration I gave up and purchased the Baby Lock. The woman I bought it from had gotten it from eBay, so who knows! I was able to find an Instruction book online. It is very short and not too detailed. Is there another more indepth manual? Do you know what size bobbins it uses? Mine came with no bobbins.

I saw that someone has this machine. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've found very little information about this machine online and the Baby Lock site doesn't even list it.

    Thanks.

I have the Babylock Ellure the manual says it takes a bobbin part code X52800-150. 11.5MM (7/16 inch). I have found that if I buy the bobbins at Walmart they don't wind up right and the machine doesn't work as well. I get them from a sewing center in town that carries parts for lots of different machines. They aren't that much more expensive and they work!! Hope this helps.

Thank you! Sorry for the delayed thanks - I couldn't find my post! LOL

I took the sm to the local Baby Lock dealer and had them show me a few things. They suggested a servicing at some point soon, but I'm going to sew some first!

I bought a few bobbins to get started and a packet of various needles. Now if Icould only remember where I put my rotary cutter!

My store has regular classes on various topics. The have monthly Presser foot classes and the next one is this Saturday. I signed up and am ready to go!

    Thanks again!

    Lori
